xbox one games with gold needs to change.

Its come to my knowledge that game with gold is diffrent on xbox one then xbox 360 weres as you download them on xbox one you have to keep your gold up to date. so they can stay free were as on the 360 once downloaded 360 there even if your gold runs out.
this needs to be fix. you cant have one program on the 360 and change it up like that. Ive been on the Wishlist/Feedback and i cant even post on that link. So i called xbox support and they told me to post under this link. This dose need to be changed.

14 day trials do not change your account status to gold. They will work with Xbox One games with gold because gold is required in order to keep the game for free, but in order to download 360 games with gold you need a full gold subscription.

 

can everyone in the family use the xbox live account or just me?

Hi there, unfortunately each gamertag needs a separate Xbox Live Gold membership to access the online features of any game.

This will change with the Xbox One where all gamertags on the console will be able to share the one gold membership.

 

And better games, Halo SA is okay, but its no Saints Row 3 or ACII

 

It is much more likely that they change it the other way and make you stay gold on the 360 too.

 

Wouldn't be half surprised if it becomes the new 'incentive' thing.

 

Yes Microsoft does need a unified program. Really makes no sense to do it 2 completely different ways.

Personally, I say keep it like the 360. Gives it a leg up on the competition.

 

You are getting to play free games essentially. I feel the yearly fee is totally worth it. Once I get an Xbox One I'll gladly get XBL so I can get as many of the free games as possible. If I ever get rid of XBL, so be it, If I really want to play said games
again, I'll get XBL once again.

 

Nothing is truly free you still pay for the use of the games on the Xbox One with your Gold membership and you still pay for the download when you download games on both systems. With the games on the Xbox 360 being yours to keep once downloaded is good

2 completely different consoles and two different rules. I don't see the problem.

 

^^ Sony runs their program the same way across PS3 and 4, uniformity makes for less confusion overall. Using your logic everyone should have had to start with new gamertags, gamerscore because its two seperate consoles.

 

Its made by the same people. If you lose you gold you cant redownload them. the point my trying to say is if you do one thing and the total opposite is just wrong. There Not Free game with gold then.

 

There just doing what Playstation is doing meaning you need to keep memebership up to date to keep these. Stop following in there footstep and do your own thing.

 

There is no confusion. Different consoles different rules. You renew gold, you keep playing. It's really as simple as that.

They're trying to give people an incentive to keep an active gold subscription. It's actually good business sense by Microsoft. The only problem is it's too late to change it for the 360.

Changing a console doesn't have anything to do with changing your gamerscore or gamertag so I'm not sure what you mean. You are only accessing their network so why should that change. It's not 1994 anymore.

Keep gold, keep playing. That's not confusing.
