Xbox One Games with Gold Issues

I always thought it was great they added backwards compatibility, so i could play some of my favorites from 360 without having to hook up my 360 agian. With free games with gold each month getting free xbox 1 & 360 titles is also great, but why is it so
difficult to download 360 titles on my xbox 1? Shouldn't I just be able to download it straight from store when 360 title is free for the month? I have no problem with xbox 1 free games just 360 games. Everytime i have to hook my 360 console to download them.
Why make it so aggravating? Am i doing it wrong or is this happening to anyone else?

Games with Gold Xbox 360 2/18

Is anyone else having issues getting Split/Second through Games with Gold this month? My Xbox 360 just says "coming soon" and that Games with Gold is "currently unavailable". My Xbox One just doesn't show the game in Games with Gold at all.

Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition doesn't load

Does anyone else have this issue with Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition for Xbox One? Whenever I try to start the game I get the Sleeping Dogs logo but then it just goes back to the xbox one home page. I have tried uninstalling and re downloading but always the same, Ive always had this problem since I got the game when it was on games with gold. I contacted microsoft and they say that my license is correct and that as I have Xbox Live Gold I should have no problems playing it so they said the problem is with the developer. Anyone else had this issue with Sleeping Dogs, or any other game.

Thanks for any input.

Do you have a credit/debit card linked to your account?

If not then that's usually the main reason people can't download 360 games from their xbox one.

Basically 14 day trials do give you games with gold for xbox one but not 360 as smwutches mentioned how it worked

No the games with gold applies to.all consoles thats not.the issue

With Xbox One Game with Gold, you have to remain Gold in order to continue playing the games for free. If you buy a new gold subscription, you'll be able to play those games again.

There seems to be an issue with Gears 3 at the moment for a lot of people, so that's a widespread issue.

That's the issue then. You'll need a full gold subscription. Since Xbox One Games with Gold games require gold to continue playing them for free, they can be downloaded while using a trial, but 360/original Xbox Games with Gold do not. So you have to have
a full subscription in order to download those games.

I thought perhaps I could add these free games to my account thru xbox.com. However, after I sign-in, I click the XBox One game titles on the Games with Gold page & it takes me to a game page to buy the game or "install on my device". .

If the page has that "Install on my device" button, then you already redeemed that Game with Gold in one way or another, and it is added to your account, so if you get a Xbox One later, the game will be ready to install, as long as you do have an active
Gold membership.

If you continue to have issues on the Xbox 360 console redeeming the Xbox One Games with Gold, I'd recommend getting all games through the Xbox website in the future, until that issue gets fixed.
