Xbox one games with gold from previous months.

I finally decided to purchase an Xbox One after many months of umming and ahhing. And had been adding all the games with gold through my Xbox 360. You know the Get for Xbox One button.

Well I have downloaded the vast majority of them however I noticed that some hadn't actually been added to the queue like they were supposed to. has this happened to others? And if so is it just tough luck. I have looked through my download history, but
it only seems to show my 360 stuff.

Any ideas?

I was wondering why I can get some of the free games from the previous months and not for this month? Though it's a child account we are able to get the previous games with gold for 360 using Xbox one...

Any thoughts about this? I appreciate it.

The Xbox 360 is the console that gives you 2 free games each month. The Xbox One however, offers one new game a month, plus the game that was free the previous month. You can nab 'Worms Battlegrounds' and 'D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die' via the below link.

Are you saying you were trying to get the Games with Gold for Xbox One before you actually had your Xbox One?

Yes, you were able to get them for the xbox One from the deals with gold app on the 360 and through xbox.com

However a couple of them don't appear to have synched properly as when I came to the download queue on the Xbox One they didn't appear.

 

Did any of the XBOX One games with Gold appear? I wouldn't have expected that!

Having said that, I recall that in the past I have clicked the 'Get on Xbox One' button in xbox.com and they didn't download; had to get them again via dashboard. Could be my dodgy memory though!

Yes I got 12 of the Xbox One games via the 360. Just 2 didn't appear to work.

 

It's possible you clicked on them when there was some sort of service alert up & they didn't register to download properly.

If they are not there then there's nothing you can do to get them i'm afraid.

 

You could just go to the download page for the game. If you already have the license it will show up as download again rather than a price.

Most of the free stuff on xbone so far has been pretty low budget stuff I'm afraid, so you didn't miss much!

 

I tried that but it said that I needed to purchase them, however this is no longer an issue as both games have decided to install themselves over the last couple of days. Must have just been one of those things.
