Borderlands 2

The games with gold announcement was made the other day, and one of the Xbox 360 games was Borderlands 2, which means it will become backward compatible sometime next month.

Games with GOLD (Xbox ONE)

Hey, Fariko! The easiest place to keep up with this info is on news.xbox.com (the Xbox Wire) and they usually make the announcement the last week of the month (at least, that's what they've been doing.) The latest announcement is here:

To answer your question more specifically, Guacamelee will be available through Games With Gold on July 2 for Xbox One, and will replace Spartan Assault. (Max will still be available.) Available July 1-15 will be Gotham City Imposters, and BattleBlock Theater
will be available July 16-31, both on Xbox 360.

This is great news sadly over shadowed by dropping the kinect but can't wait to pay some free games, not to mention huge discounts on other games.

Yeah, Max was the one game I was really hoping would be free. The bad part is this is now just like PS+. That being the case, MS will still hear all the "PS+ has better/more games", and MS can't counter "Yeah, but you own the games." So, 2 games a month
won't cut it anymore.

official FAQ stating the Games with Gold is only for Xbox 360 and ends December 31st, 2013, it has already been announced the Games with Gold will continue on indefinitely and

will expand to the Xbox One console. However, there has been no announced timeframe or a list of games for the Xbox One as of yet.

@ Burst Axe actually games with gold for the XB1 was announced before console launch. Go do a google search of games with gold xbox one dates are listed on most articles about it.
