three questions I hope that someone may help me with it :

1\ Should I have an xbox live membership to download updates for game ?

2\ How do I know my games version for example 1.0 or 1.0 or 1.2 etc so I could know weather I have the updates or not

3\ Is there a Manuel way to download updates ?

Xbox One Installing Game Updates

I've never read that the Xbox One is supposed to perform game updates in standby ?

As far as I'm aware the auto update feature is for console updates.

Hi C2 Equ Life ! I hope it'll help you :

1) No, you don't have to buy a Xbox Live membership to download updates. Xbox Live membership is mainly for playing games online.

2) There is no way to get that type of information. However, if your Xbox is connected to Internet and when you launch a game, if there is an update, it will ask you to download it.

3) As explained before, if you want to manually update a game, the only solution is to launch that game.

What game or games does this message pop for? Many Xbox One games have updates specifically for the Xbox X. If your Xbox One game has a 4K assets update for example, you'll be prompted to download this when using the drive on the Xbox One X console.

The Xbox One S and original Xbox One don't support X-enhancements, so you won't be prompted for that update when using the drive on the One S.

Please look at the
