I'm confused. If you look at a game, you get a description of the game as well as all of its features (coop, 1 person singleplayer, 2-8 players online multiplayer, etc.), images, and more often then not recent clips, as well as any Twitch feeds (if applicable),
AND the all new game hub! That, if you ask me, is more than enough to learn about any game you look at.

  2. Yes, but the whole point is that you have to first "click" on that game to see any of that info - and even then, that info is often relatively poor. Telling me there is a 2 player co-op mode does not tell me what kind of game it is. Showing 3 pictures does
not give me a good impression of how the game looks. Having no trailer, having minimal details.

My whole point is that I would like to just click on the store and search for RPGs, then see a list, which shows the game title and price so I can click around and make a quick informed decision. I am usually quite a impulsive buyer, and this store is completely
missing that market as I have to spend a lot of time to find 1 title that interests me.

If a lot of that info was out in the open (like the game title AND price), the store would look far more cluttered. I personally like how all the info is on the "inside" - it works like having a folder. You put all of that info on the inside of the folder
and only the most basic of info to find that folder on the outside. It's a matter of simplicity.

As for what type of game it is, you can EASILY find the type of game you're looking for because the store already provides it. Want a roleplaying game? There's a list! Want a card game? There's a list! Want a family game? There's a list! ...and so on. I'm
not sure why you're complaining about not having this when it IS there.

Also you mean to tell me that when it says 2 player cooperative that you can't tell that it's a cooperative-based game? That tells me exactly the kind of game it is, because it's obviously not competitive.

As far as pictures go, most games have 10+, and even for those that don't there's always going to be clips available through XBL.

Trailers? That's entirely up to the developers and whether they want to spend money making them for their game's advertising - take it up with them.

Limited info? It's suppose to entice you into getting the game without giving too much away. What do you want? A wiki?

There's more than enough there and elsewhere to help determine whether a game may or may not be worth getting - you just have to put the time in to do the research. In some cases, and no offense, but you sound a bit lazy (not wanting to click on the game
to find out certain bits of info, for example).

The things is that just because you say it is there - it isn't. So please don't reply to threads just claiming something is already ok when it's not. There is no genre for games on the game store. There is no way to search for roleplaying games and so on.

Regarding you point about a cluttered store front - you are trying to tell me that with the mammoth amount of info of both the game title AND the price, it would be too cluttered. Strange, because real stores have been doing that for years.

2-Player Co-Op - sorry but that is not necessarily a game genre, so I have no idea what point you're trying to make here, other than just simply pick holes from nothing so you can argue in a forum (i.e. troll). A 2 player co-op can easily be an FPS, an RPG,
or even a platform game like Never Alone. They are nothing like each other.

Pictures - again, say what you like. I have looked at plenty of games that have barely any if any at all. That is not to say that ALL don't have pics, but quite a few don't. Too many imho.

Trailers - fair enough. Developers don't have to make them. But as I made out with my points - you want to sell a game. Make a short video. I do not want to watch some idiots own video of them running and jumping against a wall to get an idea of how the
    game plays.

In short - I am quite sure you are just a troll with nothing better to do than go into peoples threads and makes disagreeing comments to try and incite anger in people, and I have no idea why that turns people on. I am sticking to my point - The Games Store
Needs Improvement - I am a user of the game store who looks at it plenty so feel it's a perfectly valid point. Maybe I am sometimes lazy, but as I say, I am an impulse buyer who often just wants to do a quick search for a type of game, that fits the price,
and try it out. So what's the problem dude/

Stop being a pathetic fanboy who defends XBO no matter how good or crap a system they create.

I suppose since I have the internet I should stop being so lazy and expecting XBO to run YouTube, Netflix, TED and other streaming sites properly, since I can just use my laptop anyway.

Good for you. When I use the XBox forums I don't act like a little b**ch belittling people for no reason, but each to their own.

My only problem with the Game store is the Redundancy of all of the "Limited Edition" "Pre order edition" "Regular Edition" That clutter up the UI. There should be one version of the game, click on it and you can choose from the other versions of the game
if you so choose. There should also be a background image of the game like 360. Other than that I think the game is fine and I love the fact that I don't have to search twitch to see it in action it's all right there. They could possibly give the Meteoritic
score and snip-its of reviews like the Video store that link to IE, but I don't think some publishers would like that.

^thats pretty much the point, anyone with a basic interest in games should have a pretty good idea what a game is roughly about and has all the available info on a game right there and more with the Twitch link. I do think they could tidy up all the
music and dance game DLC add ons though, they are a nightmare to wade through.

  12. I should have realized a sad fanboy forum was not the right place to debate about how MS could improve their offering. It's clearly 110% perfect already.
