XBox One Games Store - needs improvements

Wow...you can use a dictionary or thesaurus. Not necessarily what i meant tho. How is it sluggish?...cus my UI is pretty fast. So explain...

 

the ui is based off your ISP service. It has live tiles therefore it needs to update and load that information, as well as all the other "live" items going on... friends, the "wall" of activity etc. If your UI seems sluggish, blame your internet... not the
OS

and I will say this again... but it gets tiring.. Like a PC or maybe yur cell phone, the more apps that are running silently in the background, the more resources your console will use up. So you are playing Sunset Overdrive..decide to open Pandora...
get a message and respond to your friend... get sidetracked and end up going to IE to check on something.. decide to walk away for an hour... guess what?? that whole time all of the apps are running.. try closing them when you are done... watch what happens
to your UI speed

 

Explain how it runs exactly the same offline, its like the XO can have no faults. Just for your information and to pander to the XO fan club. My ps4 can be sluggish too.

Yeh okay because YOU know how my XO runs?? FFS are you serious. You telling me that the my games and apps screen instantly pops up when i press it? Ummmm no it doesnt, neither do any apps when i snap them.

Stop being a fan boi for once and just accept that not everyones XO is perfect.

This is all fine, but my main complaint was never with the sluggish UI - which I am very sorry for.

These problems to me are inexcusable and MS should be ashamed of what they have produced - what is possibly new frustrating is fanboys like Stud who act like they personally created the XBox One.

I have a perfectly good internet connection, I don't have wry many apps running or wen installed, just a handful, and these problems are ridiculous and I really hope MS pull their finger out and concentrate on fixing them.

 

I would like to see the price , without having to click on the game tile and going to another screen .

 

That would be a good feature too - I see they do have a section where you can browse "budget games" - so games for less than £20 and less than £12 - but yes, I think there should definitely be a category, price, and rating shown on the browse screen.

I would also like to see more pictures - some games literally have 0 pics, or maybe 3 - surely the devs want to sell the game!

To be perfectly honest, I would also like a better pricing structure! From what I have seen it costs more to download the game than it does to go to a shop and purchase (i.e. Dragon Age is £10 more on the store) - yet the overheads mut be lower so why not
cheaper? Plus I cannot sell back an online purchase, so overall, they do not give a lot of incentive to use the store?

 

Well sorry to put your ISP theory in fault but I have Fios at 50/50 and it is very fast and my xbox gets sluggish until it gets a hard reset. That, my friend is poor UI design created to do too much more than just play games and/or memory leak issue in
the original OS...But I do give them credit for the monthly updates. I put alot of the blame on the two guys that have since moved on since the Xbox One creation/release.

 

Also, given your 1000 gamerscore, you must have maybe a game and 2 apps running on your fast xbox so it should be blazing fast still. You win.
