xBox one games, should I optimize

Hello , only the developers of the game could tell the difference between the versions for the consoles, but by their description I can imagine that it is the 4k texture packs and related things, outside that when upgrading if it shows this value in GB, it may be that you have to recompile the kernel of the game, for this is as if you were downloading the entire game again to the new version of the console you have.

I believe I figured out what happened. The 'upgrading' should have been the 'smart delivery' upgrading my Xbox one game, to an Xbox Series X optimized version of the game. Microsoft does say that it is supposed to allow you to play the best version of the game, for your console. And the optimized should be better for my console. Hence, I was 'upgraded' from Xbox one to Series X Optimized. The 20GB update after, should be the updates for the optimized version of the game.

There are some Xbox One games in there like Gears 5, Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4 and a few others.

These 'Optimized' games will need to be installed internally or on to the Expansion card.

External USB Storage can hold all games, but Series X/S games or optimized Xbox One games can not run from USB Storage.

As mentioned it's up to the games devs (Studio Wildcard) to optimize this game. If I were you I would also try to reach out to Xbox Support in order to get a refund if possible as this should suffice as a reason, provided you haven't played the game for
more than two hours.

you guys should at least have a warning letting people know this game is unplayable on older models or releasing a model that makes it playable.

In fact Microsoft released a model for which this game is optimized, called the Xbox One X. Besides that you might also want to consider using a dedicated server for Ark as there you will already have a big performance boost, even on the original Xbox One.

It is very low while playing and a normal player cannot detect it, but it becomes very intense while saving the clip.

It should be noted that the clips are saved without sound unless I have already opened a non-optimized game and then open the optimized Xbox series s/x games.

most developers optimize already their games for the xbox one, obviously smaller teams will need more time, but optimizations are mostly made with patches and updates or with game previews.
