Xbox One Games Servers

Hi,

I have a question about the possibility of changing game servers in Xbox One. I live in US, but I come from Poland. Recently I thought that it would be cool to play even with random people from Poland (using match making etc. in games like GTA V, Destiny
and whatever else I have with multiplayer option). I tried to change the settings in Location on ma console, but still couldn't find any polish speaking players. Is that a way to change the servers and be able to play with people from Poland or Europe or there
is something else I have to do?

MS have suggested they may scale to that many servers, not physical, for the platform, not for dedicated gaming servers. It includes all their hosting as well.

Not saying it isn't a good thing, but lets not suggest they are setting up 300,000 dedicated gaming servers when they are not.

To my understanding, you don't really have a choice as to which servers you connect to, as you will automatically be connected to the closest to your physical location, regardless of your console's settings. Your best course of action would be to find some
Polish friends to play games with by posting in game forums, or community forums, such as this one:

forums.xbox.com/.../134.aspx

The ping on the Xbox One network tab does not represent your actual ping contacting the game server. The ping on the Xbox One is most likely trying to ping the Xbox servers in Washington

GTA 5 isn't one of the games using the MS servers. Rockstar have their own cloud servers for that but there is still other problems with the Xbox One that will impact on that games multiplayer though.

The only time I have had heard "virtual servers" mentioned was with the cod servers for PlayStation. The 300k servers that MS is dedicated solely to Xbox one and the games that will be played on Xbox one. MS has A LOT of servers so I don't doubt they probably
have about 1 Million.

it is a different network as all of it runs on dedicated servers, and all the games run on dedicated server, that is why there is no cross play and no party chat between 360 and xbox one, and this xbox one is awesome, glad I got one.
