Xbox One Games Running Slowly

Destiny 1 is running poorly, and so is Rise of the Tomb Raider. Halo Wars for the Xbox 360 also ran poorly.

When you 'low frames' how low would you say they are? Did they feel smooth before, but now feel slow?

Rise of the Tomb Raider on original Xbox One is a 30 fps game. As it is pretty demanding, it may drop below this from time to time. The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection run at 60 fps.

I would say that Destiny 1 felt very smooth before, but now feels slow. I'd guess it's around a constant 15 or 20 fps. Animations seem choppy, and navigating or looking around the game world is difficult. Videos online of the game running at 30 fps seem
just like I remember, and seem to look nothing like how the game is displaying right now on my console.

I don't want to say that it's impossible that the issue is imagined on my part, but it really appears to me that the games are running consistently slowly, and are certainly difficult for me to play.

The link that was previously posted is a generally a great solution to this issue, but if that doesn't resolve the issue outright, then I'd try doing what we call a soft reset


It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.


Before you try the step, make sure you know all the sign-information for any/all of the accounts on your console and have easy internet access as well, so that everything goes off without a hitch.
