2.
- What "vested interest". I don't think any of us have shares in MS.
And he even got a thumbs up for saying that?

(Shakes head) IQ's must have suddenly dropped this generation.

Well, for the record. You don"t have to actually own stock in Microsoft to have a vested interest in Xbox.

Batman Arkham Knight: Even though I think last gen's hardware could have handled this titles (Eye Candy, or lack thereof.) The playability and story still makes it a must have IMHO.

What you're saying doesn't just apply to this forum Electro, near everyone on the Internet will have a preference in one form or another. Most reviews have some form of bias nowadays.

Everyone is still not acknowledging that the OP is putting out false information.

Nowhere on the internet is it stating this "discrepancy" between the 2 home consoles.

I will now completely diregard this thread as a fallacy.

Fact Is Batman Arkham Knight is doing extremely well. Despite its launch woes on PC. Resolution-Gate is a garbage propaganda that one could not tell the difference unless the same game on exact TV's side by side with stckers stating which was 1080p and
    60fps. And 900p and 60fps.

You are correct. Playing on a console doesnt matter until it does.

Batman Arkham Knight - Shoddy PC Port Is Shoddy

My consoloe runs what it runs. Not what i expect the hardware i put into the PC hardware to not run as expected.

More than happy with my console experience and have been for a long time, which i dont see changing anytime soon.

  7. In the interest of fairness here's what I've experienced so far.

My system is a AMD FX-6300, Nvidia GTX970, and 8gb of RAM. I am running the game with everything on. Took away the 30fps limit and added the "-nologo" prefix to remove the opening vids, so I go straight to the start screen.

I noticed a couple of very quite noticeable stutters in the opening cinematic. Grappling around the City and in hand to hand combat is sweet as, honestly as smooth as silk. Get in the Batmobile and initially the game chugs like an alky, it's as if the game
has to catch up before it starts running properly.

This is a really bad port compared the the previous Rocksteady games. Sadly it seems rather than making the PC version themselves as before, Rocksteady got a studio called Iron Galaxy (same guys who did the Arkham Origins port) to do it.

Honestly it really shows that this isn't Rocksteady.

  9. It's gone one worse than that Rippen, the game has been withdrawn from sale at the moment

    www.pcgamer.com/warner-bros-is-suspending-sales-of-batman-arkham-knight-for-pc
    .

Genuinely surprised to be honest. The game certainly has issues but nothing I would have thought was bad enough to warrant a withdrawal from sale.

I can only guess that the new Steam refund policy is hitting Warner in the only place that counts, their pocket.

^ I know my brother in law had quite a few issues with Batman on the PC. Can't believe they have withdrawn it :/

I wasn't interested in the game at all until recently but I watched my nephew play it and my son and really tempted myself now. It looks excellent and they both have nothing but praise for it.

They should of been honest in the first place and said it was a different company working on pc, I think it's made it worse them keeping it quiet, makes them look shady.

  12. I love my XB1 and the fun and enjoyment I have had with the games, that being said yes the PS4 on paper is more powerful but I chose the XB1 for the games, xbox live and the controller and I love Halo and the Forza series so if graphics are the most important
thing to you buy a PC.

Resolution and Framerate DO NOT matter as much as it is being made out.

It the the overall game that matters. Story, mechanics, acessibility, and graphics. Framerate and resolution do not make up the entirety of graphics. And Batman Arkham Knight is going to be awesome.

I understand when someone says that they want these ridiculous benchmarks. Would I like 1080 and 60 fps every game? Yeah... Would it make a bad game good? No. Can it make a good game... Great? I don't think so.

Also, i havent seen these benchmarks the OP is talking about as being confirmed. Does anyone have a link i may have missed? Because all i can find is how amazing Arkham Knight is.

You would think after 18 months devs would have learned to get 1080 60fps by now.

A lot of 360 games were achieving 1080 and at least 30fps

The only way you would maybe see a difference is if you have the same game playing on both consoles side by side. The difference really isnt as large as some would have you believe.
