Xbox one games resolution

Discus and support Xbox one games resolution in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm not sure where you are getting that the PS4 runs Arkham Knight at 60fps because it's actually 30fps. bc7b3134-a1e2-452d-8b6a-41a825c06de1 Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by Jue FG, Jun 21, 2015.

Everyone do yourself a favor and play on a tv that maxes at 768P like I do. Sure I could play at 1080p at 55 inches, but I chose 32 inches at 768p. I would never be able to enjoy gaming if I nagged about resolution.

I do have one complaint, No tropico 5 for XB1?

  5. Witcher 3 is running at around 30fps on both mentioned consoles. I find 30 fps completely acceptable. Maybe to others it isn't, but I don't notice much of a lag at that frame rate.

  6. I look at this issue as eye candy, and if eye candy does not matter. Then why buy Blue Ray/Digital High Def DL movies? Why not just go to wallyworld and get a DVD and be done with it?

Because eye candy, both to industry and the individual does matter eh.

It not developers who's to blame for not delivering, because they have proved they hit the magical number on both PC and P4. Xbox took dedicated cores from both Kenect as well as the OS itself, and still can't hit the magic number. Except on games like Forza
which I picked up for the original xbox and was blown away at how good it looked even on that old of a system. Then pondered How?

Only thing I can figure is that making a paint job stand out (eye candy) must be easy, while making natural landscapes stand out must be hard to do... Umm at least for the X1 anyway.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Except on games like Forza

    And

    Wolfenstein

    Sniper Elite 3

    Alien isolation

    Destiny

    GTA5

    Halo

    Need for speed rivals

and.. many more i cant be bothered with.

I still buy movies on DVD despite having 2 bluray players as i can notice the difference but sometimes its not as important to my enjoyment of the movie. Same goes with games.

    Even with that list.

My thought on the issue remain unchallanged. For rendering eye candy in unknown worlds, and car games (paint jobs) is one thing. But try it with natural landscapes and lets see what happens?

The difference between dvd and blu-ray is huge, I could watch a blu-ray today and then watch the same thing on did next week and be able to see the difference. The game's on the PS4 and X1 play basically the same, the only way places like digital foundry
can see the differences is when they get the same screen shot and zoom in on imperfections.

I don't have a ps4 and tbh it'll be a while until there is anything on the console I want to play, maybe next year I'll grab one. I do see the PS4 in action a lot at my nephew's and tbh I never see any difference apart from contrast and that could be down
to the tv for all I know.

Give it another year or so and both consoles will be seriously struggling to cope, I just can't see this generation lasting very long.

Electro go play the Witcher then come back with a big portion of humble pie. Your DVD and BlunRaybanalogy is flawed as there simply isn't that level of disparity between the two consoles. (As most owners of both on here state). I've seen the beautiful
natural landscape of Witcher on both and couldn't tell the difference. Shame you don't have any practical experience and rely heavily on the Internet for your opinion.

There's a HUGE different between graphics on these consoles. Shame on a lot of you for not seeing it. ( I'm not saying which version is which but you only have to look at the comparisons below of the upcoming F1 title!

"Your DVD and BlunRaybanalogy is flawed as there simply isn't that level of disparity between the two consoles."

I would argue that if 180 pixels isn't a disparity, then something is likely wrong with your eyes.

"go play the Witcher then come back with a big portion of humble pie."

From what I am currently reading. Witcher 3 "Can get up to 1080p on the Xbox One..." Yet there's more to it. aren't their?

"Shame you don't have any practical experience and rely heavily on the Internet for your opinion."

It's called research. You know, not relying on what people with a vested interest post here, and doing your own legwork up to and including paying special attention to what NOT being said. You know, as in relation to my reply to your. "humble pie" remark.

The only way you would maybe see a difference is if you have the same game playing on both consoles side by side. The difference really isnt as large as some would have you believe.

Electro I didn't say there wasn't a disparity I said it wasn't as big. Research cobblers! You just cherry pick negativity. You run this console down every opportunity you get and then in the next breath say your saving for one, doesn't make any sense.
All your so called "research". Means nothing compared to hands on experience and you steadfastly refuse to hear good things from reliable forum members because it doesn't fit your blinkered mindset.
