Xbox one games lost

hey, I have recently bought a new Xbox one off a friend and when he sold it to me, the disc tray did no work. I did not complain since I got a good deal in it, but I bought two games online ( NBA 2k17 and UFC 2 ). Since I had made a new account on the Xbox
it asked me to reset it . Once I did that I lost my games even though I logged back into the same account I was using before. Can you help

Lost codes

Purchased new xbox one bundle with three games. Lost code to one game before downloading. Can i get a replacement code?

Xbox One Game items lost

i was playing a rocket league ranked match when my internet went out. when i signed back into xbox live and got back on rocket league. The items that i have unlocked during online play were no longer accessible to me. But my rank did not change and
all my stats are still there. I almost had everything unlocked and now there is nothing.

Uhm, I think it is related to the Xbox Home.

The games inside the xbox were not "Yours", the owner is the one that sold you the xbox one. Because of that, when you reset your xbox one, his Xbox Home was not linked to your console anymore.

You can ask your friend to set his xbox home to your console, so you can get full access to all his games and even share xbox live gold

3 years gaming on the 360 and not one lost achievement, 3 weeks on xbox one and last nights issues it looks like I've lost one.

The service is much more flakey, and that 20g's will always bug me!

Thanks, have seen it is available to download in store as we own it. Currently downloading and hopefully will have saved progress and add ons.
