XBOX ONE - Games : Installation and slow downloads

I have problems with my XBOX ONE. The main problem of XBOX ONE that takes too long to install the games and download . My line WIFI and ADSL have been checked and work well . I checked the XBOX ONE and I have not found any abnormality . When I used my
XBOX 360 did not have any type of problem. How come that the XBOX ONE that new generation takes so long? I also ran the suggestions given by the site, but nothing and changed.

Can you please confirm what broadband speed you have? Allot of installation issues on modern consoles is caused by slow internet connection and this would also have been the same situation if you had the PS4.

Add another problem: When I play with "dungeon siege III" the game crashes . Perhaps there is a problem with emulation XBOX 360?

 

You might try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. Many times that will resolve the crashing issue.

What are the specifics of your internet circuit? Without a fast reliable circuit the download/updates can be very time intensive.

If you are installing disc based games try installing them when your XBOX is offline.

Like the person above stated, install disc games offline. For some reason the console thinks it's downloading a digital game (or something like that) and takes an age. In general, some games just take an age to download and install regardless of how good
your connection might be. If you're just coming from the 360, you notice it more due to how slow it is in comparison. You get used to it after awhile. When i'm downloading a game, i just play something else to whittle away the time.

 

I keep my console on instant on and the downloads typically happen when I am not on. I also pre-order most games so they are downloaded/installed on launch date.

 

The reason for installing offline, is because when the game originally installs off the disk, it is also downloading and applying any updates as well. So its installing the game, and downloading the update at the same time, which is what causes it to go
slow. When you install offline, then jump online and update its faster as its only focusing on one task at once

Do you have enough space on your console? Part of me thinks that maybe there's a full HDD. Just an idea though as I could be wrong.

I honestly don't know why it's taking so long to download. Have you tried to cancel the download and try again? Part of me thinks that maybe there's a corrupt file not allowing you to download the game. idk.

 

ADSL is an old technology and by nature is much slower than the current technology being offered today. At its best ADSL will only download at 9 Mbps (upload speeds much slower 16 to 640 Kbps) which by today's standards is considered extremely slow.

If you are using a circuit like this for anything else while you are downloading a large file the speed would also be impacted negatively. The speed of the circuit is also impacted by the distance that the user is from the central office. There are so
many factors that have to be considered that to actually think you would be getting the maximum bandwidth is doubtful.

I can't say without some significant testing that this is the reason you are not getting acceptable speeds but it is definitely a factor to be considered. I know even at 100+Mbps download speeds some of these games take a number of hours to download.
