xbox one games for windows 10 xbox one saves aren't working for the pc game

As I was wondering? I see a lot of xbox one play anywhere on the pc you're able to use your save file from xbox one games. However if I wanted to play wasteland 2 directors cut on the pc I am not able to use the save file for my xbox one.

I do notice the achievements for the both games the pc one 0 -1000 achievements and the xbox one 45-1000

But I clicked final fantasy 15 for the pc. Went to (official club) which shows 590/2310 achievements and my stats. as I assume that would be the only one my xbox one save would carry over?

So my question is does the xbox one saves carry over on the pc games? If so do you have a link to explain what game saves do carry over, I was trying to search for that.

Xbox Play anywhere games share the same save with the Xbox One. Some games that are not do that as well. One example is Quantum Break. That game shares the same save, but is not a play anywhere game. It just depends on the game if it supports cross save
or not. Usually if the game shares the same save, then it also shares the same achievement list too.

I believe if the game progress/game is saved to the Cloud then you will be able to access that from Windows 10. Assuming the game you are trying to play is saved to the cloud.

Some games do that. It depends. They probably have to be a Play Anywhere game.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

Outer Worlds for Windows does not support cloud saves like the Xbox One version does.
There isn't much official support information online regarding cloud saves specifically for games downloaded through the Microsoft Store on Windows 10, although it does seem that not all games downloaded through the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 supports
cloud saves across multiple devices. Cross-save is explained to work for
Xbox Play Anywhere titles in regards to games available on Xbox One and Windows 10 and this could also be the case if you are trying to access saves on
a different Windows 10 device. My assumption is that basically if a game is not listed as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, then it does not support cross-save across different devices whether it be an Xbox One console or another Windows 10 PC. You would have to
manaully back up the saves to an external drive and transfer the saves over to the other PC.
