    Xbox One Games For New Future Xbox


    I have a question about some games that are currantly on the Xbox One, I will use the game Warframe as an example, when the new Xbox comes out, will my account on Warframe (And other online games) be transfered to the newer Xbox system, or will I have
    to either start all over again on the new platform, or consider continuing playing such games on another platform i.e. PC ? Reason for this question is simple, I have almost 650 days login rewards (As of posting this) aswell as an almost complete game status,
    so if games like Warframe will not have accounts transfered to the newer Xbox I will loose all of that progress. For this reason, I would like to know in advance to better prepare for the future of one of my favorite games.

    We all here appreciate your concerns and it has been covered too the point that hopefully you have no fears with the future. Just one more suggestion that may help you feel really comfortable is get yourself an external HDD, move your games to that cause
    then when you get a new console you don't have to download all those games again, plus you can save your game to it as well (even though it is stored on the cloud) this will give you full peace of mind you wont loose a single bit of your extensive hours of
    play.

    Everything is account based (uploaded to the cloud, not always saved on your console) which is why you it will not effect you when you change consoles.

    We have really nothing but speculation and rumours at moment, although I'm sure they are working towards backwards compatibility with regards new console. If that's the case, I think it's relatively safe to assume you can carry progress over. This ultimately

    It depends on whether or not they put the game on the new xbox and if they developers allow the data to transfer to the new consoles version but all data is connected to account.
