    Xbox One games error


    I have been trying to play certain games on my Xbox One for a couple days now and whenever I click on the tab in the home screen it begins to access the game but won't continue through the opening screens. In my case it's COD WWII and Fortnite. For example,
    when I try to access WWII, it opens up the beginning screen where it says, "Call of Duty WWII", then goes black like it's opening up the next screen, but the first screen keeps popping up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn't work. Can
    anyone help?

    Do you own the games you have issues playing? Or were you gamesharing with someone else those titles?

    Hi there,

    I would advise a full shut down and reboot of your XBox as it sounds like you havent had the chance to do that yet. Also, do any other specific error numbers come up? Any other game crashes or notifications of things like corrupted save files?

    In the event a full shut down and reboot does not resolve the issue, try reinstalling the games.

    Xbox One games error

    Hello NathanRusnak!

    A suggestion after attempting to uninstall and install the game again, is to access the network statistics.

    Run a Test Multiplayer Connection
    in your Network Settings.

    This will allow us to check errors in the connection.

    A soft factory reset can also be attempted, by

    1. Going into Settings
    2. Selecting System
    3. Selecting Console Info
    4. Selecting Reset Console
    5. And then selecting Reset, & Reset and Keep Games and Apps
    Let us know if this works!
