Xbox One Games Don’t Update

So this is an ongoing issue I have and it’s on Microsoft’s side. A game that I play will have an update available and the update will start...but it never actually updates. It just sits at 0.00% for forever.

Sometimes I can pause the update and start it again and it will begin to download.

If not, the only way I’ve found to get the update to start downloading is to attempt to pause the update (sometimes it can’t even be paused...even though nothing is happening) and shut off my console. Upon turning my console back on...the update will go...BUT
WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

Problem is, roughly 75% of the time when I shut my Xbox off, the update could never actually be paused. So by shutting my console off, I’ve lost my game, corrupted it...something. When I power back on the entire game is redownloading. I’ve downloaded Destiny
2 three times in the last month because of this. But no worries, it’s only a 109GB game...not a big difference from the 400MB update that wouldn’t properly download at all. Thanks a lot Microsoft.

Anyone else familiar with this?

I use to have that problem what I did was either delete the game then try re stalling it, or try restarting your router see if that works, hope it helps.

is it just with the 1 game/ app or all downloads done on the xbox ? I suggest hard resetting holding down the power button for 10 seconds, make sure your ethernet is plugged well if used. and if not then id suggest unplugging the power cord on your mode

Hello!

While looking at the Xbox update page, I don’t see that they changed the audio at all. I personally don’t
hear a difference but remember this update is new so it can possibly be a glitch.
