Xbox one games does not update.

Good day all. Is anyone else experience a problem with games when you try to do an update it gives you an error saying something went wrong and just stops? I have been playing titanfall for months now and decided last night to go back to battlefield4. When
try to launch the game it says theres an update so i click install and got the error. I have tried everything to fix it but it seems like the on way is to uninstall the game and reinstall it. hopefully one of you guys have a better way of fixing this issue.

Star Wars: Battlefront II (X1)

Since an update a while ago it regularly causes my Xbox One X to hard crash and turn off completely. Only game that does this.

Need to try this update out - but hope it has fixed those crashes.

When you say you've tried everything, you also tried hard resetting/power cycling the console?

( When the console is on, hold the power button in for about 10 seconds, once off leave for 30 seconds and turn back on ) ..

If you have tried this and it still doesn't work then I would just uninstall the game then re-install, that should hopefully solve the problem. Well my wife had a similar issue with Titanfall recently, she hadn't played it for a while, got prompted for an
update but like you got some weird error message and it just stopped, by deleting and re-installing it solved it and had no problems since.

Since the latest beta-test system update, I cannot update Forza 5. Having same issue as Kombatlaw (above). If I uninstall, then re-install, I may lose my game save (correct me if I am wrong).

 

i am having this exact same problem. I was playing Titanfall all friday and saturday morning and then i went to go play Battlefield 4 and it gave me this message saying i could not download an update; I also am having this problem with Forza Motorsport 5.
I am on the update preview list and i think thats the problem. i could be wrong.

 

You will not lose any saves by un-installing then re-installing games.
