Xbox One Games Auto-Recording Is Still Unsolved

I recently joined the Xbox One community, and my biggest complaint so far is the inability to turn off automatic recordings without turning off game DVR altogether.

I looked into this on reddit forums, and it turns out people have been complaining about this since launch, and Xbox has yet to introduce anything to solve this annoyance.

My question is do you think Xbox will introduce a solution in an update? Acknowledgement about this issue from an Xbox employee would be greatly appreciated.

Turn off auto game clip saving?

Auto game dvr recording is annoying in Dead Rising also and quite frankly not needed. It seems like turning off game dvr prevents manual recording as well via "xbox, record that", unfortunately. Anybody else know how to prevent auto recording while maintaining
the ability to manually record?

 

System won't stop recording clips

I have to agree with SirEzhno here, i mostly play fifa 14 right now and i am getting at least 5/6 auto recording per match.

Back in December there was an option in the system menu to stop the DVR from auto recording clips although "Xbox Record that" still worked and this stopped any auto recording, however once the April update came i started getting the pop ups again and this
time i can't stop it from happening. Whenever i want to use upload studio it goes slowly because there is about 200 "temporary" fifa recordings in my clips. I say "temporary" because some of them are now a month old and im having to manually go and delete
every clip which is simply ridiculous.

Please Microsoft allow us the ability to stop games from auto recording and uploading clips onto Upload!

 

The auto record thing is actually something the games developer puts in,not Microsoft.

It was a pain when the console was first released but can't say I've had anything auto record a clip for well over a year now.

If I remember GTA V was terrible for it but a patch sorted that out.
