Xbox One games and Xbox 360 games not appearing in “Full Library->All Owned Games”

Hello Microsoft/Xbox,

I recently viewed a thread posted today, May 26th 2020, where the topic was concerning All Owned Games not showing up in Full Library. I was shocked when I logged onto my Xbox One S Digital today and was presented with the same issue. Thankfully, the hard
reset (manually power Xbox off and on) suggested by one Xbox Ambassador in the comments section, did seem to be the solution for me.

However, this does give me additional concern, as I own an all-digital Xbox One S 1TB, and I fully rely on my digital library for all my purchased Xbox One or Xbox 360 games. I have observed some people on other threads who have had issues with digital Xbox
360 game purchases on Xbox One, and this does worry me. I would hate to have my Xbox One’s cloud databank wiped randomly, and then have to repurchase all of my lost games.

Are there any precautions by way of Microsoft/Xbox policies set in place, if a catastrophe such as this does occur? Would there be records of my past transactions saved in the cloud, that could act as evidence on my behalf, if I had to make an appeal to
get my games back?

I purchased an all digital Xbox One in order to save physical space, but I would hate to lose all my purchased content over an Xbox data issue.

As sort of an addendum to this post, I was recently shocked when I noticed that Fable: Anniversary for Xbox 360, which I had purchased for free through Xbox Gold, was removed from my library completely without my knowledge.

I had uninstalled the game on my Xbox One, to make more space for other games, but I had fully expected Fable Anniversary to stay in my Full Library of owned games. But nope, it just got deleted. I went to the Microsoft Store to search the game, to see if
I could reinstall for free in there. Nope, the store tells me that I need to purchase it for a new price.

I just assume this all occured because Fable Anniversary was recently released for Game Pass, which I am currently subscribed to. So maybe the system just wrote it off that, I was just borrowing Fable from Game Pass. But I swear I had purchased the game
for free through Xbox Live Gold’s free bi-monthly games.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with Fable Anniversary for 360?

Yes indeed. For all other 360 games, this is the case, even when playing them through Xbox One. In my library on Xbox One, 360 Games With Gold games appear as "Owned".

However, it's irrelevant in this situation. I do indeed still have Game Pass Core! Never stopped my subscription.

Go to your full library (all owned games) in your Xbox Live account, not in the store.

So I came across a kind of janky solution to this problem. You can actually buy the games by opening up edge on the Xbox and going to the Xbox 360's online marketplace.

From there you can buy the games (it might take a couple tries) but the bizarre caveat to this is that they haven't shown up as owned games in my library yet. I was able to start the installation from both the site and from the Xbox One/Series X store. It's weird though, it will show that you own/can install the game and can also still buy it.

It seems like it takes some time but the games are now appearing as owned in my Full Library as well

If you go to your full library on the console, the game is not showing there?

Press the Xbox button > My games & apps > See all > Full library > All owned games.

See if the game is listed there and please let me know. This is probably just a sync issue.
