Xbox one gamer tag transfer to my child's account?

I have set up a new xbox profile for my son, which is connected to his child account. I wanted the ability to control his gaming time. How can I transfer the gamertag he has been using, linked to my account, so that he does not lose any of with his achievements?

I appreciate any help, as he is not too happy about losing his progress.

Do Xbox 360 achievements transfer to Xbox One?

your over all gamer score will transfer as that's tied to your gamer tag not the console. the individual achievements will have to be earned again on the xbox one as others have already said.

 

Unfortunately nothing can be transferred between accounts.

 

If i may ask, what is wrong with the original account?

 

Hi there, if you are creating a new account for your son the all progress and achievements he has earned will be lost as it is a new account but if you want to manage his account then all you have to do is go into your setting and under account it will
give you the option to go into family where you will see manage family members, in there you are able to add your sons original account and manage what he does from there.

 

Hey Jessica thanks for brining this issue to us!

We have something called adding an
Alias to the Microsoft account, what this means is the email will change so then the child will be able to retain the gamertag and progress and such just the email will change. Check it out and let us know if we can further assist with this or any other
issues!!

Seems I am unable to use this, as both email accounts (adult and child) are Microsoft accounts. I attempted, but got a message stating it was already linked to a account.

I might be missing something.

Unfortunately, the gamertag was set up under my Microsoft account. I originally set up a child Microsoft account for him, but didn't realize that the gamertag he has been using has been linked to mine... and I never set up xbox under his child account;(

The original gamertag is linked to my Microsoft account... It's set up as an adult to his child account.
