Xbox One, Game won't start while online

Hi. I wasn't playing games for last month. I wanted to play Fallout 4, but first I had to update, both the game and Xbox. After this Fallout 4 won't start while its online. I tought that this might be corrupted data files so I tried few tricks, but none
worked. Then I deleted all my saves from the cloud and device. And it's still crashes after "press any button" sequence, it won't even load to main menu. I can only play while offline, but then I can't install any mods, and he many org limitations on my game
(most importantly, can't save to the cloud). I am struggling with this for 2 days. I don't think that I will ever buy a Microsoft console again. It's just ridiculous. Do any of you have any explanation for what is happening, and maybe how to fix it?

That didn't work. I followed the steps to make an update on a USB flash-drive but I just get an error message and get an option to return to the troubleshoot screen. Tried several times with the same result. What else is there to do?

Can you please try and carry out an offline update to your console to see if that will help get you back up and running as guided below.

I would try doing a hard reset on the system and checking for any updates. If that doesn't do the trick, try disconnecting the power from the console for 30 seconds then reconnect it. After that uninstalling the game and reinstalling may help if it's still
not working.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, and this sounds like the game may have been corrupted.

This could be due to MODs, because if to many MODs are added to the game it could cause it to crash.

There is a disclaimer on the game that says to not add to many MODs since this could crash or cause issues. I know since my little brother did the same thing to my game Fallout 4 and Skyrim.

I recommend to uninstall the game and reinstall it, and if the issue continues to

Soft reset the console: Keep games and apps.

Just make sure you know your email(s) and password(s) for your account(s) since they would be removed, so you would have to re-add them.

Thaks for answers, but don't have any mods, and I've done both soft reset and reinstalling the game multiple times in different orders. I deleted all saves, both offline and this from the clouds. I literally just lost over 100 hours of progress. If I won't
find a fix for this Im selling my Xbox and I will never buy any Microsoft products again. This is ridiculous.

 

Thanks but I tried all of this already. Nothing improves the issue, only playing offline. But playing offline limits the game significantly, and I won't do it. I payed for full game.

 

Try reinstall the game and try clearing cache.
Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .
