Xbox One game with a perfect disc will not install

My Shadow of Mordor copy is in perfect condition and won't install pass 38% i have done everything in the troubleshooter

It's not my disc drive i have installed 4 other games from disc since then

I have seen other people having install issues with other games lately and i'm pretty sure it's the last live update we had to download

This is very frustrating, I am seeing nothing from your people on the issue, can i at least have information on how to contact someone higher up?

Perfect Dark Zero not installing on Xbox One

Im on the Xbox Preview Program and bought the disc version of Perfect Dark Zero to install on my Xbox One. When I put the disc in, it says "This game is not playable here" and doesn't let me install it.

Any way I can resolve this problem? I have tried the power cycle multiple times but with no luck.

Installation Stopped!

Similar situation. Get installation stopped message but occurs a moment after install commences. Restarts and reboots don't work. Perfect new disc. Other games work. Unhappy with my xbox.

i was sent to warner bros game the talk to some guy who barely speaks English and they are giving me the run around.

next gen i'm going with sony you shouldn't feel ripped off by the people you pay so much for products

Hey there DeepTax23 and SnarledBacon.

When you install the game are you selecting the option to also download the game's update? If you haven't already I suggest setting your Xbox One to offline mode and install the game while offline rather than download the update. Let us know if that helps.

I have done that and everything else suggested i was sent to warner bros games and they told me do all the exact same things before suggesting i go to gamestop and ask them to see if the disc works on one of their consoles. while "see if it works on another
console" is ridiculous and does nothing to help ME, it did work on my cousin's and i retried, only 38% installing again.

I installed dead rising 3 and ryse after to see if i'd have issues and the installed fine. i feel like i am being given the run-around here. neither microsoft nor warner bros wants to admit the issue is on their end and i don't even care who's end it's on
i just wanna play my favorite game

so i found something that at least shows a problem. when installing the game offline or online, when i go to manage game it says it will take up 35.4gb of space.

once the game installs to 9% and ready to start appears, the space it will take up drops to 28.4gb.

the console seems to be confused on how big the game is - at my cousin's where i installed it to see if it will work it stayed at 28.4gb.

he's only ever updated his console the one time you have to when you buy it and turn it on the first time and i have every xbox live update. i haven't heard back from warner bros. after giving them this information but i think it's a problem within an xbox

WOW. the latest advice i got from warner bros was go offline and when it stops installing go to manage game and uninstall all then make sure the disc is not in the console and install

Either i am being trolled by them or they don't know how games on disc work this console generation.

I'm losing patience on this, Microsoft says it's not on their end it's warner bros and warner bros seems to have chimps helping people with problems
