    XBOX ONE GAME saves


    So WHERE THE FFFFFF are my game saves? I JUST got an xbox one and once again i see MS is hiding crap from us. First ALL, yes all of my games saves for FALLOUT 4 disappeared. I spent an hour on the phone with some girl who had NO CLUE what she was talking
    about. Well I did a hard restart, you know where you hold down the button for 10 seconds and BOOM! they were all back, yes I was connected to the internet and xbox live the whole time.

    So now here's my question/problem/issue, I went to reload a game save from a few days ago to replay a decision i had changed my mind about, FO$ players will understand, well guess what? when i try to scroll back to my earlier game saves, i can only scroll
    back TWO DAYS!!!!! everything else before that is not there or I can't find it. So then i see that supposedly xbox one syncs with the cloud. I had no idea that it was doing that and apparently neither did the girl i talked to before. I have not told my xbox
    to save to the cloud so i guess it just does it and thats fine but where are the other 8 days of games saves? ( and thats 8 days as in 8 days of total playtime so thats over 200 hours of game time) Is Microsoft trying to tell me that now I can only save a
    certain amount of game saves??? Now look I had hundreds of saves for elder scrolls, skyrim, oblivion fallout 3 and new vegas.....so where are they for my fallout 4? I'm not allowed to keep those saves? I got a huge hard drive just to make sure i'd have room
    and now are they telling me I'm limited to cloud storage space?

    I've done a little research and found that you can no longer look at your save games like you could on your xbox. They are either hidden of not there. Once again MS is afraid someone is gonna steal from them. So riddle me this Batman how do i go back to
    a game save from a week ago? On oblivion and FO3, I always kept a starting save that I could go back to to skip all the char creation and tutorials when I wanted to replay, is that no longer an option?

    You don't need Gold for cloud saves, Silver membership works for that also.

    Do we always have to save our xbox or 360 game to the cloud in order to use it on our xbox one console?

    Yes, you do have to save your Xbox or Xbox 360 game to the cloud in order to continue playing the game on the Xbox One. Once the save is on the Xbox One, it will automatically be saved to the Xbox cloud every time you save the game on there.

    You will not lose your games saves when you upgrade to the Xbox One X from Xbox One as your game saves are stored on the Cloud.

    You don't have to transfer game saves from the Xbox One to the Xbox One X.

    They (game saves) will sync once your console (Xbox One X) is connect to the internet.

    The original Xbox games saves cannot be transferred. You will have to start those games again on the Xbox One if you want to play them. As for the Xbox 360 game saves, they can be saved to the cloud using the xbox 360, and they automatically transfer over
    when you play a 360 game on the One. All saves on the Xbox One are stored on the cloud, and on the Xbox One. You can find the saves for each game by highlighting your game on my games and apps, press the menu button on controller and select manage game, and
    from there you can find your saves.

    If the games are Xbox play anywhere games, then if you start the game on the Xbox One, then the saves would automatically sync to the console. If the games are not, then no there is no way to transfer the saves to the Xbox One.
