    Xbox One game not working on Series S


    I’m trying to play Red Dead on my Xbox Series S. I bought it digitally on my Xbox One, and I’m still able to play it on there. Why can I not play it on my Series S? It’s saying I don’t own the game. Thanks for any help you can give.

    There's no such thing as an Xbox One Series S. There's an Xbox One S and an Xbox Series S. That game is only available for the Series S/X, not the One. So if you have a One S, it will not work.

    The Series X version of the game will also work on a Series S. Are you sure you have a Series S and not a One S? The Series S/X version will not work on a One.

    The Series S/X version will only work on the Xbox Series S/X, not the Xbox One. You would need the Xbox One version of the game.

    The Series S/X version will not work on a One. It'll only work on a Series S or X.
