Xbox One Game DVR

Okay, so, before the July, 2016 update, if I missed some dialogue or a piece of a cut scene, I would hit Record That and re-watch what I'd missed. Often what I'd missed was at the end of a 5 minutes of recording so, I would fast forward to part I needed.

After the July update, there doesn't seem to be the ability to rewind or fast forward on game clips in the Game DVR. I don't record videos to share, edit or upload and I don't stream to windows 10. I'm playing on the Xbox One and I only record to watch
what I've missed. Now as it is, I have to watch and re-watch up to 5 minutes of video if I want to get a specific part.

Is there really no way of rewinding or fast forwarding right now?

Twitch Integration

Back in August they said the Game DVR function would capture at 720p and 30fps. Presumably streaming to Twitch will be the same.

I took a look at the Upload Studio app myself and it appears that this is intended. You can select the clip and edit, which will give you the ability to rewind and fast forward but there currently isn't an option when previewing the clip. If you'd like,
definitely head over to Xbox Feedback and let them know that you're interested in this feature.

 

When recording there is no way to choose too have your voice when recording. This would be very helpful for many reasons such as if you want to upload videos to youtube. But I you don't want audio there sound be a button to turn it off I wouldn't want to
use a capture card. Or such if you want to share something funny that a friend a said while something was happening. This would save a lot more time than using onedrive.
