Xbox One Game DVR issues - Fast/Jittery recording

I'm having an issue with my Game DVR, whenever I watch my clips on my xbox or phone smartglass app, the footage is extremely fast then stops and trys to catch up with itself. All the time, the sound is staying at a steady pace. Does anyone else have this
issue, and if so, do you know how to fix it?

Would be much appreciated as I want to start making vids I can record and put on YouTube.

Why are there DVR controls on live tv?

Upon further research it looks like it should control the DVR on my cable box. Or at least the recordings. But it won't.

From the user guide

OneGuide is not designed to control your DVR. You can use your DVR remote control to access your recordings or schedule new ones.

Note OneGuide’s playback controls (fast forward, rewind, play, and pause) will work with your DVR recordings.

 

I would say it's probably your internet connection as the symptoms would suggest to me it is a streaming issue. I have the same problem when everyone in the house is on their laptops/consoles. However when they're all out or asleep everything streams just
fine.

 

Eagle94. I am having the exact same issues. Even when I play my vids back in the middle of the night (like right now) it plays super ffw then gets choppy, then stops. I noticed that itd only been happening the past month. On videos I made earlier than

Hi @eagle94 and @toogood97. Are you seeing this issue only when viewing the clips from Xbox One SmartGlass or from the Xbox One console as well? If Xbox One SmartGlass, what specific device are you using? Thanks for the info!

 

Same problem. Its a resent problem.

 

Seems to have fixed itself on my xbox now, but won't stop on my xbox smart glass. Really frustrating when I want to show off to my friends. I have a Galaxy S3, it worked fine to being with. Now won't stop, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, that didnt
fix it. I don't think its internet as I usually get speeds of around 8-10mb on my wireless connection when connected to my house wifi... but it still happens.

 

I have the same problems, seems to be since the last smartglass update, I have a Samsung s4

 

I have exactly the same problem, which seemed to happen after the last update. It no longer happens on my Xbox One, but DVR playback on Smartglass is unwatchable.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4.

 

Same issue here, older videos play just fine but last few I recorded run like it's in fast forward. Galaxy Note 2

 

Confirmed here. On smartglass for android the videos stutter as if the format isn't decompressing properly. Not sure about iOS.
