Xbox One Game Downloads and Updates

Hello,

For the past couple of weeks I have tried to download game and updates for my games and apps on my xbox one but it is downloading them really slowly. It reaches about 1mb/s for the game updates and about 200kb/s for app updates. This is taking me days and
days to even download the smallest updates. Even the latest blu-ray update is taking a couple of days to do because it is being really slow. Playing online on Fifa and Rocket League hasn't been laggy or extremely bad so I don't understand how my downloads
can be doing this. I have done all of the steps than people suggest like rebooting the console and cancelling the downloads and restarting them.

My dad also has an xbox which he hardly uses so I tested a few downloads on his xbox in the same location and using the same wifi and his is doing fine. My xbox is a couple years older than his but this doesn't make sense. Has anyone else had this issue
and know how to fix it? Would this be a software issue that can be corrected through an update or a hardware issue which I need to get a new xbox?

I would be really great if someone could provide me with some more information.

How Long does Xbox One take to set up?!

Unboxing and setting up max 15 minutes. The updates will be quick to download no more than five minutes. You can set the Xbox to standby mode which will download any updates or games whilst the console is off.

If you connect your console to your home network via Ethernet cable, do you experience the same issue? Wireless networks are generally not as reliable as wired ones and can sometimes experience sub-optimal issues such as slow downloads.

If a wired connection has the same result, can you post back with your networking hardware information (make/model of router and modem) and your ISP? As well as a screenshot of your Detailed Networking Statistics.

This will helps us look into things.
