Xbox One Game Copy

My external hard drive got corrupted and had to be reformatted to work again and as a result I lost over 700 gigs of games. My internet isn't the greatest and it would take me months to reinstall them. I have a friend who has all of the same games, so
if he copied them onto my hard drive from his, would they still work on my account? Further, if I own the download version and he owns the disc would it also work?

Copy games from Xbox one

I have a issue with download games on to my xbox since i am on Dsl but on the very bottom of Dsl Speed 1.5 mbps. it Odd that when i connect to my brother net my speed jumps little higher and able to download.

so i was thinking if he has the sames games as me I can copy the download games and put them, on my drive

No there is not, but you can designate the account as your Home Xbox and play the games he has purchased.

Hey Jefferson!

Thank you for bringing your issue to our attention. As long as your account owns the license to the games that you're copying over from his hard drive and you're signed in the game should allow you to play it.

"can i copy xbox one games from one external hard drive to another" Currently, you can only have two copies of a game (well, three if you count the one that's always in the cloud). One copy on your Xbox and one copy on a single USB 3.0 external drive. However,
you should be able to have two external drives plugged into the Xbox and use the Move command to transfer the game/games from one to the other.

There is no license. You get the Xbox One copy of the game and use it on the console. That will not allow you to use it on the Xbox 360 as it doesn't work that way. If you want a 360 copy, you'll need to get a 360 copy on top of a One copy.

Have you tried checking if both the Xbox 360 copy and Xbox one copy of the game are up-to-date?

If it's a disc copy then yes,it will work as the xbox one is region free when it comes to disc copies of games.
