Xbox one game/app volume

So I run my Spotify app for music while gaming. I see the slider bar for adjusting the sound (game volume vs. music volume) no matter where I set the slider the game volume will always return to ‘normal’ after a loading screen. Although the slider bar does not change position. For instance I put the slider bar 100% on music and play a match/game just fine. The game audio is 0. But then I hit a loading screen or navigate through menus and all of a sudden game volume is back and now competing with music volume. It’s frustrating cause after every match/game/race I have to go back to the slider bar (which is still on 0% for game volume) and move it just to move it back and it corrects the issue. I don’t want to have to adjust the volume control every 10 min.. anyone else experience this?? Pls help. Also this is happening on all 3 of my Xbox one x consoles and for every game.

First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you're having this problem.

Before trying any solution, try to uninstall the program and install it again, please. See if this will solve it, as I saw you have 3 consoles, and the same problem persists on them, which is weird.

*If that doesn't work, try contacting Spotify support as it may be a problem with their software, as this problem happens on your 3 consoles. You can be doing this via the link below.

For whatever reason apps found in the Windows App Store are not compatible with the Xbox One. I would have figured since they had this trove of apps available they would have made them compatible. But apps are coming. In regards to the setting the volume,
that would require 2-way communication between the TV and Xbox. Currently the Xbox has no way of knowing what volume your TV is currently set. So your best bet would be (if this app existed) to set the TV at the volume before turning it off.

Hey there. If you download the Spotify app on your xbox you can play music for free through your headset. If you also pull up the xbox menu you can adjust the volume of your game volume and music volume. Hope this helps!

If your volume is too high on just the Xbox app, try these steps:

- Open the Xbox app.

- Right-click the volume icon at the bottom right in your system tray.

- Select "Open Volume Mixer"

- Lower the slider for the Xbox app to a lower volume. You may need to scroll across to find the Xbox app's volume slider.

This should fix the loudness problem for the Xbox app. If it doesn't, please let me know and I'll see what else we can try! Thanks!

I also use windows 10 app but when i use chat mixer and want game volume loud the chat volume goes low. But with mobile app I can turn bluetooth volume up, independently from game volume... works great til i get a call.
