xbox one future

I don't understand why sales matter. I mean if your buying a car and your deciding between a ford and a honda, would ti matter if one sells better then the other? If people thought this way, there would only be 1 console, 1 car, 1 type of house, 1 type of
food etc etc. I mean I'm not going to eat at mcdonalds just because they sell more burgers If i don't like there food. Buy whatever you want OP. its your money and you should buy what console interests you the most. Don't worry about the other BS. just find
the one that is right for you in regards to games, features, online play etc etc

 

Sorry for this intrusion again from me...

If u are still in doubt, i would suggest you to wait a complete year and look at the issues from the consoles, service and not the least - games. Invest on the console which is not giving you pain. End of the day you want to sit back, relax and game and
not to fix even minor things right.

I am excited and cant wait to get my hands on X1. Only future will tell if i made right choice or not but the decision is already made. My home has place for X1.

 

Rad the actual redux developer interview, they basically say dx 12 is going to blow people's minds and they got parity with ps4 using dx11 and did not even get time to use some of the cool stuff that came in the June sdk.

 

I own both now so all these arguments are just mute points to me now.

 

@ Slayer sales matter as it measures how well a company is doing with it's product or in this case how well a company isn't doing well. If you choose to ignore the facts then that is at your own risk. Nothing is guaranteed in gaming most company's operate
at a loss within the gaming industry.

It can't be over looked, suggestions is op waits and see's what happens.

There's no rush and there be better deals in the future.

i know for myself that when i go into a store and i see apples on sale i don't really look to see if Fuji apples are more popular than Gala apples. i just pick the one that tastes better. i couldn't care less which apple is selling better or is more popular.
i just pick the one i want and let people who have time to waste figure out why Fuji apples must be better because they sell better etc

it's all choice. i haven't the slightest clue why people are as invested as they are in proving why one console is better than the other. it boggles my mind the amount of energy people put into bashing Xbox or bashing PS etc. they are objects purely for
enjoyment. how people cling to them as tightly and emotionally as they do is disturbing.

pick one. pick both. it's your choice but please don't make it personal. hey, it's just games ya know. have fun.

 

How is x1 struggling? As far as the community. Ive never had a problem finding full rooms in 64player maps in bf4. No probs in forza titanfall etc.. There are plenty online playing on x1 and I play weird hours.

 

I read that someone said xbox 360 outsold ps3. It did not and has not they sold about the same amount of units.

DING DING DING!!! Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Thank you very much for putting it so perfectly. The only sales numbers MS needs to 'beat' is their own profit margin. After that
criteria is met, beating another gaming system's sales numbers is n-o-t-h-i-n-g more than bragging rights. Plain and simple. Would they like to out sell other manufacturers' systems? Sure... do they have to? NO.

As far as the OP question is concerned... I chose my X1 and never gave it a second thought. I was happy with both of my previous Xboxes.

 

I hate people that cant think for themselves, with this in mind i have to relate to this topic. sales for example - how can you compare 13 countries to 70 odd for sales ? or do you think its fair as is ?

The X1's future is great. Personally I went from PS4 to an X1, because I felt like the X1 was more future proof and had more features. Yeah the PS4 has sold more, but it's also in more countries, and it was released a week before the X1. If they were both
released on the same date and in the same exact countries, I think that the numbers would be a lot closer. The Xbox isn't going anywhere, because it's a great piece of hardware, and it has a large fan base.

You can this all you want but you know the reply would be something along the lines of .. well those regions it did not release in, MS knew it wouldnt sell in those areas, which is why it was delayed so the numbers would be about the same with or without
those regions
