Xbox one full connection, but lag in other rooms

I noticed this when I first bought my system, but unless Im directly plugged into my network, or in the same room as the router I have connection issues. I'm fully connected to the internet, I have access to my games and apps, but when I use any of them
I experience lag or intermediate service. I lag frequently, or cant connect to games, and when I stream It has to buffer every few seconds or so. Since I now share an apartment with some friends, I cannot monopolize the living room. I'm debating whether to
sell this system off and try another or just give up all together. any suggestions or anyone with the same problem?

Titanfall is lagging !!!!

I began having severe lag yesterday... internet connection still solid, can stream videos at full hd flawlessly... but on Titanfall it's almost a full second lag... unplayable... reset router, etc... tried different Titanfall server, same issue... one bar
connection...

Slow Connection

My Xbox Live Connection has been fine up until about a week ago when all of the sudden my connection slowed....I began to lag in all my games and in my Xbox Live party as well.....my connection shows a one bar but it has always worked at full speed and all
my other electronics are working at normal speed....what should I do?

Yeah, i would say its just picking up interference, which is why its not working properly for you and dropping out.

My suggestion would either be to move the modem, or to buy an ethernet cord (a long one) and hook it up that way. Another suggestion... and the more i think of it, the better this one is... could be to try one of those Wifi Booster/Range Extenders, as you
can plug them into a wall socket, and they extend the range of the modem so should hopefully give you the strong connection you need. I've never used them personally, but they seem to fit the bill

It was my understanding if there was a bandwidth issue wouldn't I be experiencing lag way before a disconnect? When I am connected, I experience no lag whatsoever. Typically every game is full bars for everyone in the room

Heres my new issie. If all the gamers with below average internet speeds head into the best connection rooms, won't they now take full of advantage of the LAG COMPENSATION. LEAVING US GAMERS to suffer from activisions handicap rule. Essentially bringing
down the room for gamers with great ISP when full of wifi stealers and subpar internet speed subscribers on BLOPS2. Whats the use of playng on best when the room will be full of SH!TTY internet service having GAMERS.

Lol, I lag horribly on my sisters host and her box is in the next room. I'm getting 40/25. The game lags, simple as that.

I've never had a single drop in frame rate :/ and I've had a full game of 8 people before. Again sounds like a connection issue not a hardware one.

Full hard drive does not cause lag. Bad internet connections with one or more players causes lag.
