XBOX One frozen TV on power up

Hello, I have an issue where my One will be stuck on full screen video with no audio from the HDMI input TV source when powering up. Usually it has not been on the TV source when powered down. The only way I can clear that state is to unplug the unit and
then power cycle. I have Xfinity X1 if the HDMI source matters. Pretty annoying as it just delays start up. I only very occasionally watch the TV source but it's nice to have. Anyone familiar with how to resolve this?

Video freezes, have to do a hard shut down to fix

My Xbox one gets into a state where the image on the TV is frozen when I start the TV app.

If I power down the cablebox I will get the lost connection message. When I power on the cablebox there will be a refreshed-frozen image.

If I quit the TV app and restart it I will get a blank screen. When I cycle the power on the cablebox will get a frozen image of channel the cablebox is tuned to.

The app itself is not frozen, I can change channels.

The only way I found to get around this is to do a hard shut down of the Xbox One (power down by holding the power button for a few seconds)

When I turn the Xbox One back on every thing works fine while I use the app.

The problem will appear again (sometimes) when I go back to the TV app. I have not figured out the pattern...

TV picture on XO freezing after playing the Xbox 360

I have my Panasonic TV connected into the Xbox One on Channel HDMI 1

My Xbox 360 is set up using HDMI 2 so I have to change the channels to play the 360

Ok this is what happens,

1. Watching TV through Xbox One
2. Decide to play Xbox 360 for a bit so change to HDMI 2
3. Return to Xbox One to watch a bit of TV so change back to HDMI 1
4. TV picture has completely frozen so I have say Xbox Turn Off then Yes
5. TV, sky box and XO all powers down and leave for 10 seconds
6. Say Xbox On and everything is fine and the TV is now playing

Anyone else have this problem?

Mine just did it tonight. TV picture frozen. Bypassed Xbox One and cable worked perfectly. This NEEDS to not happen, Microsoft. This is a huge reason for why I bought the Xbox One. Now thinking of giving up on the Microsoft ecosystem.

Unreal Warfare

You can set the Xbox One to turn the TV on or off with the Xbox One when it powers up or powers down. It does this with the Kinects IR blaster. Works for AV equipment too. It works for the majority of compatible TV and AV equipment.

i doubt it is the update. look at your power brick when your console is on (should not matter if it is frozen or not) and if it is orange or red it's your power brick that is faulty. my first Xbox 360 white was fine until i just turned it off and right back
on, then i got RRoD. power supply light was red. it was not frozen when i turned it off, all i did was reboot it. the sudden power down and back up killed an already weak power supply
