    This is beyond just a few of us that have had this problem, it's ridiculous a MS rep hasn't responded to this thread. Update problems on twitter are just being taken care of via DM, how about admitting there might be a problem and sending the proper solution?
    I'm assuming Ephinany's answer is the only one?

    BTW, thank you for posting this as the rest of deal with this...

    The latest update (July 31 2016) f***up my console. I cannot start any app or game and cannot sign in to any account. I just see the main menu but that is it. My internet connection is good, and I was able to test the connection on the console and it says
    the connection is good. Now, I tried the console reset and all I all I can see now is a black screen, I do not even see the green menu that was there before.

    What the f***up shall I do now?

    I had the same 66% issue, xbox live chat was a waste of time. They told me to do the offline update which I did and I still was stuck at 66%. I've been down for 2 days because of this craps. Im glad I came across this thread, everything is fixed now. Thanks

    same here the summer update went to 66% with online update and stopped. Shut the system down and was left with the green screen. Did the steps for offline update and again it got stuck on 66%. I've had all xbox systems and have been a loyal xbox user,
    but this Xbox one is crap and Microsoft company is even more crap. PS4 here I come.
