Xbox one friend request system needs improving

Xbox really need to revert back to how the Xbox 360 works with friends requests. So when you get a friend request you have to accept it before you and the other person are friends as this will stop annoying irritating little kids from stalking you and adding
you and all your friends when you don't won't to be friends with them. So to put it simply the "following" option on Xbox one is just stupid and useless and the friend requ system should be the same as the Xbox 360

friend problem

The friend system works differently on each console. The One uses a "follower" system which doesn't use actual friend requests. Your friend would need to try signing into a 360 or see if it will let him accept it from the Xbox app to add you.

Friend request from xbox1

The friend system doesn't work the same on the One as on the 360. On the One it's a "followers" system so they probably added you, but you won't get an actual request to add them too. You would need to follow these steps to add friends -

The friend system is different on the One versus the 360 and doesn't use the request system. They would need to sign into a 360 or I believe they can do it from a backwards compatible game, and accept your request there. Or you sign into the Xbox app and follow them.
