Xbox one friend list

Are you meaning you can't see who is following you when you load up your followers list on your profile?

If this is the case, then the Xbox system is a little bit slow in displaying this information. I am currently trying to find ways to fix this on my Xbox, but am having no luck, as this seems to be a delay in the server updating my profile with followers
and sending it to my Xbox. I also get notifications that friends have added me as a friend, which should have been sent three days earlier.

You could try rebooting your Xbox by holding your power button, on the Xbox Console, for 10 seconds - or until your Xbox shuts down. Once it has turned off, please turn it back on and sign into your account, and see if the system shows you who is following
you when you look on the followers list for your account.

If you hold down your Xbox guide button until the pop up window appears showing you three options. One of the options, which should be on the far right hand side, should say report problem. Please click onto this and submit a report detailing your problem,
as this will go straight to the development team.

If you don't see this option, then please forgive me. The option may only be available to members of the Xbox preview program.

You go to someones profile and select "add friend". When you do that you automatically become a follower. It's up to that person if they want to accept and add you as well to become friends.

Have you tried power cycle your Xbox One?

What is your NAT type (Can be found on your Network Settings)?

I'm sorry to hear about that. Do you have any screenshots or images that show how many friends/followers you had before the drop? Or do you know any Gamertags that went missing from your list? Having that info would help us dig a bit.

Are you getting a specific error message? As brandiesel1 mentioned, you start out by 'Following' that user until they follow you back before you're friends. However, currently the appropriate teams are investigating a similar issue where some users are not
able to add friends.

If you could try Xbox.com, the Xbox One console, and the Xbox app (for free on iOS, Android, and Windows 10) and report back with the results along with error message you're receiving, that will help us a bunch.
