XBOX ONE FREEZING WHILE PLAYING AND KINECT NOT WORKING .....

I've got the same problem.

Cleared the cache, lowered resolution, disconnected the Kinect controller, but it keeps freezing up.

Got the game for the kids during the holidays, but now they can't play while it keeps raining outside.

Now with the Recent Update my Kinect affects the Keyboard freezing as well. I have this unfortunate hardware issue with my Kinect where it randomly turns off and On by itself. But after the August Update, when I use the Keyboard to type something and my
Kinect turns off, the Keyboard freezes or lags, until the Kinect turns on again (Turns off and freezes the Keyboard for 2-4 seconds then turns on again)

Example: Typing the word, "Warframe". I would start inputting the letters then when I get to the letter "m" it freezes and I noticed my Kinect just turned off and the Keyboard is stuck (or frozen) on "m" even though you can hear the keyboard noises while
trying to move to the next letter. But this moment only lasts for 2-4 seconds but can still repeat, even on the same word or even the next letter.

As a result I have unplugged by Kinect, which is my only main way of talking to others (Only when playing Solo which I do most of the time) as my Xbox Headset broke or died

Hi there, it may be you need to reset the Kinect sensor connection, to do so give this a try.

1.Power off the console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2.Unplug the console’s power.

3.Unplug the Kinect sensor from the Xbox One console.

4.Plug the console power back in.

5.Press the Xbox button on your console to power up the Xbox One.

6.Press the Menu button on your controller.

7.Select Settings, and then select Kinect.

8.Plug the Kinect sensor into the back of the console and wait up to two minutes for it to be recognized.

Alright, try to unplug all your devices, any HDD, USB drives, Kinect, etc. Boot up with that, put a game in and play it for a while. If nothing happens, then it's your accessories causing the issue. If it's freezing with nothing attached to it, then it needs
to be sent in for repair. If it isn't, re-add each of your devices and figure out which one is causing the freezing. Disconnect your console from the internet as well, as sometimes the Xbox's software pauses when waiting for a response from Xbox Live, and
if it doesn't get one, it just waits forever.

re: For the past couple of weeks my console freezes when I turn it on whil e it is trying to load the dashboard. It gets past the XBox splashscreen, but freezes while the spinning double circle is on the screen (prior to the actual dashboard menu actually
coming up). I have a XBox 360 S, with just the 4GB of memory (no hard drive). Even after it freezes, the controller still communicates with the console and the Kinect sensor starts up. Also, if I eject the tray while the console is off and close it before
it freezes, it will load the game and I can play the game fine (no freezing during the game). So it seems to only be a problem with the loading of the dashboard. Also, I do not get the RROD, the lights on the console stay green. Thanks. - SugaredQuill368

Im having almost the same exact issue, except mine will freeze either at the splashscreen, or the double load circles before the dashboard comes up. Another odd thing i noticed while its stuck at the splashscreen, my controller will go from one green light
solid, to 2 flashing alternatively. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
