xbox one freezing/stuck on home screen

Same problem here since the update, I've tried holding down the off button and taking out the power cable for a while.

I can't reset the console to factory settings as I cant access the left side bar as it freezes when I try.

Sorry to hear the issue has persisted, please follow each of the steps provided under 'I need to update my console offline' on our

Xbox One System Update Troubleshooter page. That's going to be the best solution for this particular scenario.

If you read my post correctly i said i already have gone through the offline update. i downloaded osu1 to a flashdrive did the offline update it went all the way to 100% then all of a sudden it started to update again and stopped at 66%. Did not get no home
screen or nothing

 

Well i had to call in a favor. called a IT security Specialist (aka lil Brother). And i took off on my motorcycle for a motorcycle ride and came back a few hrs later and he had it working. Dont know what he did but he got it working.

So im Good!!

We have exactly the same issue. Update reached 66% then stopped. It now won't initialise beyond the Xbox logo green screen. Any help on how to put this right appreciated. Ta

 

Same problem here in Belgium. ANd when I try to call the Microsoft, it doesn't work neither. It's been more than 10 days, I have my console which is stuck.

 

so i realize this post is from 6 months ago but im having this issue now. ive hard reset. ive tried unplugging and plugging in my xbox but nothing seems to work. im just stuck at the home screen. if i try try to go to something i get the error code for not
able to sign in.

 

I'm experiencing the same problem, freezes or just goes to a black screen.

Since a couple of weeks it happens regularly (every time i startup the xbox) that : when pushing the 'guide' button on the home screen, the screen is freezing, no action on controller buttons/sticks has any effect. Only a 'long' push on the guide button
brings up the 'do you want to shutdown console' screen up. When confirming shutdown, the shutdown time is long before the xbox power button goes off. I have to pull out the power cord for a short time and restart the console to be able to have an 'normally
functioning' console until the next shutdown where i have to repeat the whole procedure.

it is very annoying !!!

Would like to have some feedback about solving this problem !!!

can't get out of the "corrupt" notification page. Won't go back to home screen. Help!
