Xbox One freezing on the green start up screen or a black screen?

I'm not sure what to do to fix this. A game crashed and froze my xbox, so I turned it off. When I turned the xbox back on it stays on the green screen for over 20 minutes, and then it changes to a black screen and doesn't boot up.

Xbox freezing on start up

Hi, my Xbox one has recently been freezing on a black screen on start up. I've done a hard rebot a few times now and each time it will boot up to the green startup screen, loads for approximately 10 seconds and then the screen will go black while the logo
on the console will go dim but remain lit. I was woundering if anyone has had this problem or knows any way to resolve this issue.

 

Fixed screen problems with update tool, a day later game losing audio starts freezing.

I was having problems with the very long green xbox loading screen and also the black screen. I downloaded the offline update tool on a usb and installed it. It seemed to clear up my problems. Now, a day later, while playing Destiny, I start having no audio,
and when I try to go to home screen, the buttons or direction commands aren't working or either freezing/lagging. Any solutions?

 

Trying holding the power button until the console shuts off and unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds.

The plug did not work, It just freezes on the green screen without budging now.

 

Did you hold the power button until your Xbox shut off?
