    Xbox One freezing at Netflix after new app-and system updates.


    This started after the new system update and the Netflix update I installed yesterday on my console.

    Can't even get in the title-menu of the application because it freezes everything on the loading screen. My internet connection is fine, I have about 1,5TB of clean space on my console, I already deleted and reinstalled the app and the problem persists after
    that, and it also works fine on my Xbox 360. I've seen a few individuals who have the same problem but it doesn't seem to occur too often so apparently it's not a 'real problem'.

    Already contacted Netflix but they can't help me because the options they offer aren't applying to my problem. The only thing they offer is to completely reset my console but I obviously don't want to do that and lose all my progress when it can possibly
    be solved in a different way.

    New One Netflix Update

    I've been having a lot of issues with my Netflix app on the One here lately. The first time I load the app, it immediately freezes up and I have to exit out of it and reload it. Anyone else having this problem?

    The reason I ask is because the original two TVs I had my xbox connected to were only capable of 1080i resolution, and the netflix app would freeze anytime my xbox one was connected to those TVs. I purchased an LCD 1080p resolution capable TV and haven't
    had a problem since that time. DON'T do a full reset, that will NOT remove the installed app from your console, I tried doing this, and it did NOTHING for this problem and did NOT remove the install file from the console. Once I set my account back up, the
    install file was still showing when I would go to get the app.

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with my television because it ran Netflix just fine before the system update. It also runs perfectly on my Xbox 360. My television is capable of running Full HD 1080p because that was one of the specifications for why I

    I'm At My Wits End!!!!!!!!!! This All Started Beginning of October when I Downloaded Netflix Update.....

    @Irixion, I just tried your suggestion, game disk won't play with HDD removed, just showing black screen. But....I've never had a problem with this Xbox before the Netflix update at the beginning of the month. After the update, Kinect freezes, games won't
    play, apps freeze at their start screen. This Xbox is hardly ever used, how could their be any damage? (purchased brand new 2012, paid extra for star wars version, only been used approx. 10-20 times since purchase).
