    Xbox One freezes mid-game and doesn't let me return to home screen.


    I recently just ordered an xbox one s with battlefield 1, and when I play the game, once every one or two games, the entire screen will freeze. I then try to press the xbox button to return to the home screen, but instead the screen glitches out and the
    home screen appears in the top quarter, but the bottom is still in the game. The only thing that I can seem to do is hold the xbox button, go up and then press a to turn off the entire xbox.

    Has anyone got a fix to this problem?

    Xbox One Keyboard freezes

    We first had this problem last year when the only game we owned was batman, we tried a new controller after a hard reset and it didn't help 'home screen button doesn't respond and virtual keyboard freeze, cant type cant return home'.

    We eventually replaced the entire xb1 with a new 1tb version, all new from plug to tv! we STILL had the same problem on many games 'home screen button doesn't respond and virtual keyboard freeze, cant type cant return home'.

    this is clearly a problem in the xb1 software effected by install problems. XB1 needs to take this seriously and fix it, we have to hard reset every few hours!

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
    the results. If that doesn't help then try uninstalling/reinstalling the game.

    Update for xbox

    Idk what is wrong with my Xbox One s it doesn't want to start any game it just returns me to the Xbox home screen. It let's me use Netflix and YouTube though but does not let me access my games. I tried everything already I hard reset my Xbox and I also
    did a factory rest I tried everything but my games still do not work please help.

    Same problem here. Sometimes is freezes and returns to the home screen, some times the xbox freezes. It is happening on a xbox one x.

    This makes playing not doable. I am returning to my ps4 pro to many issues on xbox one x. No replies from Microsoft. They offer me to send it back for repair, but i have already doen that and had to wait 3 weeks but They didnt solve the issue. Not going to
    send it back again. Never xbox for me again..
