XBOX One freezes during Disc play

Just as title says, I have consistent DVD playback freezing. I have previously sent my console in under warranty for repair. I received the console back from repair and went on a deployment shortly after and now I am experiencing the exact same issue, of
course now I'm out of warranty. It is not the discs I am using, they play fine in other platforms. I contacted a customer service rep who was going to send me through these repair steps...

Here are the steps to solve the issue.

We need to remove your account. Don't worry, this is just to refresh your profile.

Settings>All Settings>Account>Remove Accounts>Then Remove your Account

We now need to clear the Alternate MAC address.

Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC > Clear Alternate MAC > Restart

We now need to power cycle your console to reset the network card and clear the cache.

1) While the console is on, press and hold the console’s Xbox button for 5 seconds.

2) The console will power down.

3) Disconnect everything from the console, esp. third party headsets and flash drives.

4) Unplug the power supply from the power source.



Let's then test your network connection to check if this is a network or caching issue.

1. Press the Menu button on the Xbox One controller.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select Network.

4. On the Network Settings screen, select Test network connection on the right-hand side of the screen.



Let's now sign in your account.

While I greatly appreciate the help it hardly seems my network card or account have anything to do with my disc player. Any else have other tips, advice, or similar problems?

Freezing during game play

what would cause a game to freeze during game play? I have cleaned my disc, I have changed my disc with another, it always freezes when I'm like on a 30 -40 wave of horde. Any ideas?

 

crapy downloads

Never got fable 3 going and now Im trying to play prototype that i downloaded from the marketplace but it freezes up during a cinematic scene and tells me disc unreadable when there is no disc in my xbox...

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. I am having the same problem and it seems to be getting worse. Haven't been able to find a legitimate answer anywhere.
