XBOX One Freezes Constantly

My console has been freezing like crazy this week alone. I've done a hard reboot of my console atleast like 20 times (yes I have kept track of it all, it's not even an exaggeration). This typically happens when I go home from playing a game to switch to
another, or even just pressing the home button. I honestly have no idea what else to do/what avenue to take but to come here.

Hi

Firstly if you have and external hard drives or accessories connected to your console can you try disconnecting and see if the problem persists. Next thing I would consider trying after this is to

reset the console to factory defaults to see if that helps at all, please make sure you know your account login details before starting the reset.

Xbox one constantly freezes

Over the past two weeks my xbox has been either stuck on the green start up screen, or sometimes it will work and then it will always freeze on the dashboard or in a game and i will have to reboot and its constantly happening within 10 minutes of me turning
my console on, any tips on how to fix it? might just send it off to get fixed with my warranty

I've been experiencing the same thing. I've posted on here as well about it. By chance do you have Halo MCC. I'm trying to make a connection between that game and system stability issues

Hmmmmm, I'm starting to think there's something about MCC that is affecting system stability. It's gotten to the point that if I play any game I have to hard reset the console after. Coincidentally it only started around the release of MCC. I'm wondering
if it's perhaps a live thing and if I were to disconnect it from the internet would it happen?

Hey there xJKUMFx, it looks like your issue is different from BigERay427's, so you will want to start a new thread to get the most help. However, you can sometimes fix your problem by unplugging the console for 5 minutes and rebooting it with any external
hard drives disconnected. If that doesn't work, you will likely have to use the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool (support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool)

hello, my xbox one has been slowing down and constantly freezing in game and out of game. recently it started telling me something went wrong when i try to sign in to my account as well as trying to purchase things from the marketplace. I have done complete
shutdowns and that works sometimes and did a factory reset a while ago. As of last night my xbox turns on and comes to the green start up screen that says xbox and just sits there acting like its loading in (the dots are scrolling as if its going to load)
but doesn't load in. I've unplugged it shut it down but it still hasn't changed. its been trying to load in for 2 hours now. I am just out of warranty as of 2016 so am i just at a complete loss?
