    i have xbox live gold and it wont let me download the splinter cell conviction for free and its meant to be a free game? apparently i have 2 pay 8.99 please sort this out thanks

    Xbox One Free Games Problem

    For whatever reason I cannot download free games with xbox live gold despite having xbox live gold. It defaults to other payments options and will not for the life of me allow me to download a free gold game. Has this happened to anyone else on Xbox One?
    If so, how could I fix this? I see my friends currently on Evolve, but I cannot join them because I can't get the free game even with my gold membership that expires in december 2017.

    @Owen the problem isnt that MS only gives one free game on Xbox One, the problem is that Pool Nation has been free since April.
