  1. Xbox One Frame Rate Drops and Stutters>>>>>Is it normal or possibly a faulty ...

Hi. I have a Day One Edition Xbox, and any time I play graphically intensive multiplayer games, such as Call of Duty Ghosts and Titanfall, I seem to get some major Frame Rate Drops, Stuttering and Screen Tearing. However it seems to be happening to me much
more than other people I play with. My current set up is my Xbox One connects via HDMI into a surround sound receiver and then from the receiver to my television via HDMI. Because I have my Xbox One going through a receiver to my television and not directly
to the television, will this cause added frame rate issues and stuttering or could it be something wrong with my Xbox One, or are these just normal problems everyone has??????

    :)

ok, found this online and it worked

The tech support guy had me do two things which seemed to fix the problem:

1.) Clear the persistent storage first. on the Xbox One Dashboard, please go to Settings >> Disc and Blu Ray >> Persistent Storage >> Clear Persistent Storage. Please do this step 3 times.

2.) Next, we need to clear the MAC alias.

Please go to Settings >> Network >> Advanced Settings >> Alternate MAC >> Clear Alternate MAC >> Then restart the console.

Really odd! seems forza somehow gets backed up with junk and starts to crackle.

Nope. Not faulty. That's the Xbox One operating as intended by MS. Developers are having serious trouble with this piece of s"@$ box. After seeing the way Titanfall came out for it (i got for PC and Xbone)I gave it a few more days and then listed my Xbone
on eBay. I'm just super *** I bought all these games digitally for it. Waste of over $300 on poor games I will never play again. MS f'd up really hard on the software, hardware, UI/UX and feature support. Simply 360 degrees of incompetence.

  5. Hi there yes its normal for a new console to have these types of hiccups. More importantly xbox one is and will always be improving as time goes on.

Sounds normal. Games will eventually get better at utilizing the hardware, but for now that's how it is. There's no way going through a receiver could be making it worse, I wouldn't waste my time trying to re-hook it up directly to the TV. I mean, you
have other stuff hooked up to that receiver right, you don't notice hiccups watching cable or a blu ray? You may just be more sensitive to it than the people you play with.

Alien Isolation (Mod edit: Possible spoilers).

It would be when I'm walking it would be a really bad frame rate drop to where it would stutter really bad.

    Frame Rate Issues

Ok maybe I worded it wrong. The game doesn't stutter but does drop in frame rate quite abit, particularly if your running and change direction rapidly or explosions are going off. I would not say this game is fluid as the frame rate is choppy

Is it normal that the FPS on my Xbox Series S console sometimes decreases?

It's normal for some games to have frame rate drops.

    Would This monitor Get 75hz?

    No.

I'm not sure why you keep insisting on 75Hz. The Xbox One only supports 60Hz or 120Hz, depending on the display and the resolution nothing in-between.

That display doesn't do 75Hz anyway.

If you're referring to 'Freesync' that's not how it works. Freesync allows compatible displays to change their refresh rate based on the frame rate a particular game is running. So, if a game drops from 60FPS to say 50FPS, the screen refresh will drop
preventing the 'stuttering effect' that usually accompanies frame rate drops.
