Xbox One FPS turn stutter controller or console?

I've had the Xbox One for about 3 months and its worked fine.

Now when I play FPS games the left stick moves me about fine and smooth but when I turn the vision of the character with the right stick it stutters in slow motion.

I thought it was the controller so I went a bought a new one but the problem remains.

Could this be a problem with the console?

Its strange that I can move forward, back, side to side and jump smoothly but am unable to turn... Thoughts?

Xbox Wireless Adapter and Framerate drops in games

This also happens while using the controller wired pressing any button or moving any joystick makes the whole system stutter ingame and even on the desktop.

Doallyn try getting it to stutter exit the game and see if it also stutter in the desktop (ej. move your pointer to see the stutter)

Bad news about Watch Dogs...

You lied when you said you could see the frame rates stutter at 30 FPS. There is the lie.

I know this may sound like the "book" response, its the only thing I can think of.

Perhaps you've got some kind of glitch in your game. Try uninstalling/re-installing and doing a hard re-boot of your system.

Having the second controller do the same makes me think its software related. Still possible that something is wrong inside the box???)

Thanks RipzKord, I will try this. The only reservation I have about this approach is that its not just one game that stutters its all of them. Is there a way to reinstall the Xbox One operating system - that could be the problem...

My Xbox's output is 1080p and it's stuttering. The footage of the video is at 58.97 fps instead of 59.97 fps or 60 fps, this is the cause of the stutter. I checked an older capute of the same game and it's 59.97, no stutter at all. They messed the framerate at some point in an update.

I have a Xbox SS, my screen resolution is 1080p 60hz

Here are some links that might help you determine the issue, but before viewing them just make sure your HDMI cable is a 4K cable and not a regular one.

Considering that tv and movies run at 24 FPS and you don't see any stuttering, how can you see stuttering at 30 FPS when it is faster? I suspect your system is suffering from frame rate drops and is actually running at less than 24 FPS.
