Xbox one forza6 package - unable to play 3D blu-ray to my Panasonic 4K 3D TVs

I have have my for a 6 Xbox one for about a week. I read on the forum that it plays 3D blu-ray so I bought a couple of disks (ice age 3 & 4) to test things out I am getting a message that the Xbox doesn't recognise the TV as a 3D device. Any help would
be appreciated.

Xbox one only plays some blu rays in 3d

My xbox one will only play one blu ray in 3d, the film Dredd. Every other one I own plays the 3d disk in 2d only. The xbox is connected directly into my bush 3d tvs hdmi 1 port with a known good hdmi cable that works with my 3d blu ray player. All the
films play in 3d using my lg blu ray player using the same port and cable. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the blu ray app and 3d in enabled in settings.

The issue appears localised to xbox. Is this a hardware/software issue, should I return my xbox?

Sorry for the long post and thank you for any information anyone can provide.

Well after lots of hunting through the Xbox menus I finally found the setting for "allow 3D and have got things working as expected without having to state which to Xbox1 is connected to.

I just need to work out how to eject the dvd now to play something else.

I went to watch a 3D movie tonight and discovered the same exact thing. All of my 3D blu ray movies end up with a black screen followed by NO SIGNAL. Regular blu rays and DVDs play just fine. I tried dozens of 3D movies and they all do the same thing. I
also have an Xbox One S and an LG 4K TV.

Thank you AutumnsDad! I turned off 4K and HDR in the settings and they will play in this mode.

Microsoft, please fix this, it is a pain to change settings every time I want to watch a 3D movie.

After a LOT of troubleshooting, I've managed to find a temporary fix.

This works EVERYTIME on my LG 55UH8500 3d tv and Xbox one S:

Turn off 4k and hdr in settings, set display to 1080p - and all 3d blu ray discs play as expected.
