Xbox one forza not connecting to the Internet

Hi there

In playing forza 4 on xbox one its not connecting to the Internet any ideas how to fix it

I tried going off-line, however my XBOX one refuses to install Forza Horizion 2 unless the console is connected to the internet.

Do other Multiplayer games connect and allow you to play, is it only Forza 4?

Have you restarted your console?

Also, try logging out of your account/profile, restart, log back in and try again

It might also be that some services were down to unexpected issues or maintenance

I don't understand why so many people complain about having to "connect" the xbox one to the internet on the first day, or when you get forza, for example. Most people have an internet connection and if you have xbox live, you obviously can do this easily.

My understanding is that Forza 5 takes advantage of some cloud-based graphics rendering and race hosting on Azure servers, so an Internet connection may be required for Forza 5. As far as I know, Forza 5 is currently the only Xbox One game that is using
any cloud rendering.
