Xbox One Forza Horizon 4 continually crashing mid game

Help, I am at my wits end. Forza Horizon 4 has started to crash every time I play it, sometimes after 15 minutes, sometimes after two…

I have tried:

- removing the game and reinstalling

- removing my account and reapplying

- turning the system off and removing all leads for 5 minutes

- System reset on the Xbox

- clearing locally saved game data

I am running my out of ideas - I love this game but it has become unplayable…! Help!!!!

That will be the last resort but you can reach out to Forza in that way they can have this investigated further.

Followed instructions, unplugged hard drive, powercycled, played game, within 4 minutes it crashed again…..

Any other ideas, this is beyond frustrating - I love this game so much but it is now unplayable… :-(

That may be an issue, ChrisPoucher1. Please unplug the external hard drive then try to play the game again. Make sure to perform a power cycle before re-launching it.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

As I’m wiping everything including all game data? I have done a system reset but kept downloaded games… it takes so long to download them all I didn’t want to wipe them off…
